Plain-language pilot notes

A preview should not ask for more than it needs.

This page explains the current public pilot experience. It is an overview, not a legal privacy policy or a promise about future product features.

In the interactive preview

You can use the public demo without an account, an email address, or a real restaurant selection. Its group votes and outcome are simulated in your browser for review.

In the restaurant application

Restaurant submissions include the contact and menu details a restaurant chooses to provide so the DishMatch team can privately review the pilot application. An application does not publish a restaurant profile.

What changes later

If DishMatch introduces accounts, persistent sessions, live group sharing, or partner-backed discovery, the experience and this explanation should be updated to describe those specific choices before launch. Until then, the site avoids claiming behavioral insights, anonymous analytics, or external integration capabilities that have not been implemented.
